Update from Sister Donna Barron. Please put Earnie on the prayer list. He is scheduled for back surgery this Sunday, that is, if we can get all these other medical tests completed in time. He has had five MRI’s and CAT scans done on his head, and they have shown what we think is a small growth on or near his pituitary gland, and a very small aneurism. We will find out about those tomorrow (Thursday). At this time, I don’t know if we will be at church on Sunday morning. Surgery is set for 2:30. In case you are wondering about operating on Sunday, the doctor says that that is the only time he can operate and not get interrupted so much. I think I know what he is talking about because while he was in the exam room with us, he had to step out and take and important phone call.

He is so ready to be out of pain. He even gave up the trip to New Mexico with the ROTC guys for the Bataan Death March event, so I know he is really hurting. He will be off work for three months.

Update 2/12/11 from Heather: Mr. Barron is out of surgery and is doing fine. Pray for a good recovery.
